The NEBOSH Incident Investigation course has been designed by NEBOSH in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and is aimed at those managers and supervisors staff responsible for investigating accidents in the workplace.

The NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation course provides a solid foundation in Incident Investigation, covering 5 modules comprising.

  1. Incident terminology, the moral, legal and financial arguments for investigations and management system requirements
  2. Human and organisational factors
  3. Investigating incidents
  4. Positive strategies for and the barriers to successful interviews
  5. Advanced incident investigation techniques

Prerequisites

This qualification has no entry requirements. However it is important that learners have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
